Marika is a concept artist and illustrator based in Norway.

Her journey as a concept artist began with a lifelong love of colour and creativity. Growing up in India, visits to the art supply store with her mother and grandmother sparked her passion for various media. She treasured using a 64-piece Faber-Castell watercolour pencil set at school, collaborating with friends and recreating characters from World of Warcraft while developing her own unique creations.

This imaginative background naturally led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Game Art and Design from the Image College of Art and Technology in Chennai. Her desire to further refine her skills and deepen her understanding of concept art motivated her to enrol in the rigorous design programme at FZD School of Design in Singapore.

She has had the privilege of contributing to animated projects such as "Hvitebjørn," "Rufus the Sea serpent that Couldn't Swim," and "The Legend of Evergreen Hills," where she specialised in environment and VFX design. In her personal time, she is drawn to traditional painting and has recently begun exploring acrylics. Today, when not working on client projects, you can find her creating vibrant art inspired by magical everyday moments she experiences while living on the Trondheim Fjord with her husband.
